      Interview

Two short Panel interviews, they wanted to hear about my background and what I thought would make me an ideal candidate for the position. They were very open, it didn't feel like an interrogation, but they definitely tested my sales knowledge.

      Sales Development Representative Interview

      9 Oct 2018
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Boulder, CO
      No offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Carbon Black (Boulder, CO) in Sept 2018

      Interview

I had 3 separate interviews. The first one was 10 minutes over the phone with someone from the hiring department. The second interview was a 30 minute phone interview with a Sales Manager. The next stage was an onsite interview that took 1.5 hours and I interviewed with 4 people separately. The whole process took roughly 2 weeks. Bring LOTS of questions to this interview. Ask a lot about the products. Make sure at the end of each interview you close them (thank them and ask them if they have any reservations about you). I believe this is one area that I could have improved on.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Why do you want to work for Carbon Black? Why sales? Talk about a time where you struggled somewhere (other job, sports team, school, etc) and how did you get your self back on top. What are three things as an interviewer I could have done better
