I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Capify (Altrincham, England) in Apr 2024
Interview
Found through a recruiter.
Have me interview on a call then come in for a 20 minute presentation then delay and delay and delay until they have me interview with another two people on an hours notice.
At which point they are super positive but I suspected they didn't have the position signed off.
Turned out it seems I was right - they completely shut it down on the basis they were "worried i would leave within 6 months due to the commute" and it means I've wasted hours and hours on a pointless endeavour. Their excuse of they didn't think I would commute past 6 months and would end up leaving was not their call to make and they knew FROM THE START that this was the deal.
Not for them to decide really and having read the reviews now - I'm not surprised by any of it.
Amateurish to the n-th degree and when you ask them about the morals of thr company - a knowing look says they know wxactly what they are doing to companies desperate for a lifeline.
I applied in-person. I interviewed at Capify (Sydney) in Mar 2020
Interview
Ad-hoc , unprofessional lacking any real business sense. Fairly quick process with external consultant useless, was quoted a decent salary range and was within market range. No real structured questions or industry type behavioral style.
