I applied online. I interviewed at Calm in May 2026
Interview
The recruiter went over the job, asked about my background and behavioral questions. She used AI for note-taking. Compared to other recruiter interviews I've done recently, this one was probably the least friendly, which was disappointing because I was really excited about working for the company. I went into the call excited and interested in working for Calm, and the recruiter was tired and super low-energy. - I'm not sure if she just didn't like me from the very start or if she doesn't like her job.

Thank you for your feedback. We are sincerely sorry your experience didn't reflect the warmth and energy we strive for. The recruiter you spoke with is normally known for being incredibly warm and supportive, so we are disappointed to hear that this particular call missed the mark.
We’ve shared your feedback with our talent team to ensure we are always putting our best foot forward for candidates. We truly appreciate you letting us know, and we wish you the absolute best in your job search!
I applied online. I interviewed at Calm (London, England) in Mar 2025
Interview
3 months total, long gaps between communication, lots of 30 minute rushed interviews covering the same information - 6 rounds total. Presentation to senior members without any opportunity to discuss anything other than the task. Unmanaged expectations from HR/Talent about how the process is going.

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Calm (Houston, TX) in Nov 2022
Interview
Pushed through and unusually easy interview process in order to create a deck and presentation outlining processes designed to help them improve their own internal functions.
It’s classic farming and it’s becoming more and more popular. They sing you praises at your hard work and then send you a canned rejection.
And TADAA! The role is still posted.
It’s no wonder they’re are 3.1. My condolences to the employees.
