SEM Analyst/PPC Manager - Remote Interview

      31 Jan 2018
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Los Angeles, CA
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at CT (Los Angeles, CA) in Sept 2016

      Interview

Basically, you have an initial phone interview at a very basic level, then you have to build out a campaign. But to even get to that point you've got to do some procedure to help artificially inflate their SEO. But it is an internal campaign, like they want someone to show them what they don't already know. Either way, asking someone to spend hours building out a campaign with your favorite setting is a BS interview. They should pay for your time. And they aren't really hiring. It's not a big enough company to always bee hiring. It's only like 30 people max, yet at any one time they've like 10 open positions. They are preying on the jobless to further their own rankings and ad performance. They waist my time every time I check job listings. Someone should send them 10,000 low value trash links or better yet report them to Google to job engine spam. I'd do it myself, but I'm too busy trying to pay my bills to have my time wasted.
