      Graduate Research Assistant Interview

      14 Aug 2016
      Anonymous employee
      Boise, ID
      Accepted offer
      Neutral experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Boise State University (Boise, ID) in Feb 2013

      Interview

Interview was pretty brief. Had a schedule of meetings with several people in the department which all asked basically the same questions . . . what are you interested in working on, who are you interested in working with, what are your long-term goals, what things do you like to do etc.. Went out to lunch with several other students, think it was basically a free meal for them. They all had typical 'watch out for this professor', I do 'this' for 'that' person. Not terribly insightful or difficult overall.
