It's a bit strange Overall. It began with a screening by HR that's very typical. The n a couple cold invites for video interview. But, the hiring manager showed up saying it's not interview. Did not allow time to ask questions. He seemed fearful of being questioned.
The one hired has been with Baxter for a long time. But the background does not match with the job description as advertised. The hired does not have any software background as required by the job ad. That being said, this is a typical nepotism hire. Biolife used to be part of Baxter. It's been not much open to outside talents.
