I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Best Buy in Jul 2013
Interview
My interview process was sort of strange. I applied online, got a call a few days later on a Saturday to interview on the upcoming Wednesday. I interviewed, did well, pretty normal questions like previous job experiences, one time you went above the call of duty for a customer etc. He said at the end he was going to set me up for a second interview. So I waited until Saturday no call, I ended up calling them, and was told they went in a different direction. I was a little mad, but they called back a few hours later saying I could get a second interview in sales at another department. Did that, killed it, to find out the first person I interviewed with liked me in sales so it ended up being a miscommunication on their part. Got the GM 3rd interview a few hours later and accepted the offer. Once you make it to GM interview it's pretty much a done deal, I did well on the first two interviews but horrible on the third and still got the offer.

I applied online. I interviewed at Best Buy (San Marcos, CA)
Interview
The interview went as expected for a job in retail. I was asked about past experience and what my current availability looked like. At the time, I accepted an offer and was working shortly afterwards.
Normal behavioral interview. Phone call, interview, offer. Pretty easy to get through. Went in for a tour, asked a couple questions. Everyone was pretty nice. Nothing unexpected. Could be different now though.

Very casual and normal line of questions. Depending on the role you apply for they do ask behavioural questions and some strength and weaknesses. Fairly quick process. You will be asked to meet twice and one phone call for screening
