Normal interview and then dinner with a manager. The process was very bland and normal. Most of the people did not want to be conducting interviews, it seemed, but it was painless.
I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Bechtel Marine Propulsion (Schenectady, NY) in Apr 2017
Interview
The interview process was 30 min phone call just generally speaking about the position. Following about 4-5 hour in person interview.
First with HR speaking about the company introduction.
Then interview room with either the hiring manager
Next following the team that will review your skills.
Closing with HR.
Then the option to lunch if your invited.
Took about two months to hear back for the position.

I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Bechtel Marine Propulsion (Idaho Falls, ID) in Jul 2017
Interview
I was contacted by a recruiter, essentially a cold call. I had worked on projects with this company in the past, an when they found out I was available they reached out. Unfortunately I was in Hawaii at the time and the recruiter did not take the time zone into consideration and woke me in the middle of the night. I'm sure I didn't put my best foot forward. However, he did schedule me for a follow-up phone interview.

The interviewer didn't ask any difficult questions, really his only question was " tell me about yourself"
