I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Autism Learning Partners (Providence, RI)
Interview
I received an email saying they invited me to their hiring event where interviews would be held. I went the next day and filled out 30 mins of paperwork before seeing the interviewer. The interviewer was very sweet. I was asked basic questions about my experience and also what I would do in certain situations. Only really strange part of the interview was when I was asked to pick out of three toys and pretend she was a child and play with her. The toys were basic, some broken... I tried to make conversation and she said I didn't really need to speak. As a current RBT, I engage with my clients during playtime all the time so the whole thing was rather uncomfortable.
A few days later I receive an email saying they filled all positions and to look out for more in the future. That night I received a call saying that I did receive the position and was sent an offer letter.. very confusing and disorganized. The woman who called was also very kind and understanding when I declined. Overall, if you love kids and are looking for after school hours and a part time position, then this job may be for you. Just wanted to share my experience.
