First round was HR phone interview and second round was hiring manager phone interview. Everything went well and we had fruitful discussion during the interview. The hiring manager mentioned the next round would be a face to face interview and HR would contact me afterwards. I didn’t get the respond from HR one week after so I sent an email and asked. HR said they were finishing the second round so should be able to provide me feedback two weeks later. And then I wait for one month, I still did not get any response from the HR. I assumed I was out of their list but better to confirm with another email. HR told me, again, they are finishing the second round and would update me soon after they have some feedback from the hiring manager. It have been more than three months after my first interview with HR. I was quite positive at first but being hanged for a quarter, I am upset not because I did not make it to the third round, but being forgotten in their recruitment process. What I need is just an confirmed answer that I am not in the shortlist. I am not sure if a company is respecting their employee if they keep hanging their candidates unsure in the recruitment process. You can choose the one that you want from the list but at least you need to let the others know they are not offered with the job. Not telling them they are still on the list as they will be so disappointed after waiting for so long and we all know the fact.
