I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Aspen Valley Hospital (Aspen, CO)
Interview
Took a little over 3 weeks in all. After submitting an application I received an email notification and the my resume was passed to the hiring manager. After another 2 days I received an email asking me to complete an online skills assessment. A few days after that the hiring manager called me, she was really nice and asked some general questions regarding my experience. It went well and she invited me in for an interview which also went well. I was really impressed with the facility and the ER team, so I was happy when I received an offer letter from the recruiter the day after my interview. I felt the compensation was really fair so I accepted.

Question 1
She asked a lot of basic questions so they could qualify my experience "what would you do if your patient..." and "walk me through how you would..." I have 17 years of ER experience so it wasn't tough for me but if I was a new nurse I would have struggled. Then she asked me a lot of questions about the type of team I like to work with, I think she was looking to see if I would fit in well with the team.

Interview
I was mostly told about the position in detail not asked very many questions at all. It seemed more like a "welcome to the company" than an interview. It took forever to actually get an offer. It was the easiest interview I ever had!
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Aspen Valley Hospital (Aspen, CO) in Oct 2014
Interview
Phone interview with HR and later the director of IT, then a ridiculous star chamber interview with the department where I was asked all sorts of totally irrelevant questions by a bunch of fifty-something women (you know "culture" questions), a technical interview /test, a tour of the hospital and no follow up. I think that they already had their candidate selected, but were just crossing the t's and dotting the i's.
