I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Aspen Institute in May 2022
Interview
Clear communication throughout the process with the hiring manager (person who would be my supervisor). Interview was more like a conversation which was great, and hiring manager patiently answered all my questions. After the second round, I was offered the role by the end of the day.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
First round questions were more generic, like tell me about yourself, how did you hear about this role, why is it interesting, tell me about a time when x. Second round was more situational + things of more substance like questions surrounding my skills + experience and how and why they’d be a great fit for this role, and why I want this role. There were a couple more unique questions that related to the teams work, culture and values.

Interview
It was really easy and everyone was very helpful. They pretty much asked me basic questions about myself. They got back to me in about a week for an orientation.
I applied through other source. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Aspen Institute (Washington, DC) in Jul 2010
Interview
referral from former employee; first received phone call from current intern, then came to the office for 1:1 interview, then after given offer with no room to negotiate i accepted and began work within the month. all protocol was simply that as no other candidates were seriously considered. good for me at the time since i was unemployed for 6 months, bad for me in that i had no idea the psychotic nature of management, nor the lack of opportunities i would have. o well, i moved on :)

Question 1
what makes you qualified for this job? unexpected in that i had multiple degrees and this position was far below my capabilities, which was known, but i guess they wanted to keep with protocol just this once
