I received a phone call and email and was able to book a virtual interview as a fitness instructor. There are many sites within this company, so interview processes may vary. I've seen in-person interviews at different locations.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Aquila Health and Fitness (Washington, DC) in Oct 2022
Interview
Very easy and to the point. Just prepare for general interview questions and you will be fine. Received a call back shortly after interview process and started working shortly after that!

Question 1
How many years of experience in the fitness industry?
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Aquila Health and Fitness in Jan 2019
Interview
Have had 3 interviews opportunities with this company. First time was a phone interview that went well and was told that I would be contacted for an in person interview the following week. After sending a thank you email, no response was ever given.
Had a second phone interview and then actual interview, this was right before the 2019 government shutdown and the interview was at a government location, so I was told I would not be given a decision for a while which was fine. After the shutdown ended, I reached out to the hiring manager and was told I would be told something soon. Reached out after a week and was told nothing and have not been contacted since.
Finally, the third opportunity I had a phone interview, and was in contact with the hiring manager to set up an in person interview. After some back and forth with the hiring manager and I was about to set a date and time to come, all communication stopped.
Edit: the HR manager reached out to me after seeing this review, updating me on my status with the positions and taking some of my concerns and addressing them. I really appreciate this and it helped change the outlook on this company.
