I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at AppCard (New York, NY) in Jul 2019
Interview
first had a phone screen with recruiter, then a phone call with team lead, and then a phone call with marketing VP. After that, I was invited on-site and met with the same team lead and marketing VP i had already spoken to. I essentially has the same conversation twice with those two. Following the interview, they had me complete a writing assignment to see how i would deal with a client trying to cancel their subscription with AppCard. The office was essentially a supply closet and employees seemed frazzled and overwhelmed. i was interviewing for a senior position with the salary expectation of $60K, however, when presented with the offer they decided my experience wasn't up to par so offered me $10K less with potential for a $5K bonus. i countered, they wouldn't meet me in the middle so decided to walk. for a company that seems desperate for help, they're a little stingy when it comes to salary and benefits.
