It was a good experience. The recruiter contacted me and took some basic details like CTC, expected CTC and notice period etc. She also wanted to know why I am looking to change my job and what motivates me etc.
Post that there was a programming round. It was a easy program but they wanted to see the approach i.e. do I care for time and space complexity or go ahead with the easiest approach. They were very sensitive to the efficiency of the program that I wrote. They asked if I could further optimize it.
Next was VC round with the director, he was quite friendly. We talked about my professional journey, he asked few scenario based questions. He also asked few questions related to JAVA fundamentals and multithreading. Finally he explained about the company and where do I fit in.
The next round was with the Engineering teams. This is the most challenging round. The panellists grilled me and wanted to understand if I really understood the concepts well. They were digging deep with every answer I gave. This round went for 1.5 hours.
Finally, there was an HR round. It was an open discussion. I asked questions regarding the company policy and culture. The lady was quite patient and answered all my questions. The compensation and Joining date were discussed here.
The offer letter was released the next day. It wasn't a typical offer letter but a letter of intent. The offer letter was released 2 days before joining.
