I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at AmeriPro Health in Jul 2023
Interview
I applied for a job opening in Savannah, GA. I received a phone call for the interview, the person asked me a couple of questions and after my answers he told me that there was no need to go on the next steps of the interview process and he offered me the job. He said I would be working at their Brunswick location (one 1 hour and 30 minutes from my house). I told him that I applied for Savannah but he kept saying that it was only 30 minutes from Savannah. We close the call, and later on I received the official offer and letters to sign, showing Brunswick as my station. I didn't sign and started to do my own researches to find out where exactly is the location. I couldn't find anything. I send emails and left voicemails to the person that run the interview asking for the address of the station, but no answers. Almost a week later I received a text from a nice lady telling me that in 2 days I was supposed to start orientation. What orientation if I idn't sign and accept the job? And I explained why. Two days later I received another email from another HR person saying that they don't have a Savannah station but it's Brunswick and it's 30 minutes from Savannah. I told him that I applied for the job on Indeed and the location on the job description was Savannah, attaching a screen shot of the page. So, I asked again for the address. No answer. The day after he sent me another email wishing me luck for my job search but my application was discarded. But wait, didn't I receive your job offer that I didn't accept? And I invited him to study the Georgia geography and find out how far Brunswick is. If this is the professionalism that they are talking about on their website, better to stay away from this company. P.s.: I still haven't found where their station really is.

Question 1
What I like and what I dislike about working in EMS
I applied in-person. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at AmeriPro Health (Riverdale, GA) in Jan 2019
Interview
Interview process was great with the exception of everything they told me was a lie. I was told that since I would be placed on the critical care transport unit working a 24 hour shift that we would only run the 3-4 emergency critical care transports a shift. When not transporting patients, we would help teach classes and have ample down time for rest since most of us in this position are coming off a 24 hour shift at the Fire Department that runs emergency transport units. The supervisor that they hired was in over his head and didn’t look out for his employees. The truck I was assigned to was supposed to designated for only ALS transports where a patient would be on a IV pump, Ventilator, or other specialized equipment. They would keep us in the road for up to 20 hours not only running a few ALS calls but the majority of BLS/Dialysis totes until finally I would refuse calls from dispatch and take us out of service dude to safety reasons. A paramedic being awake for 36+ hours without sleep caused a safety issue with patient care and the operation of ambulance. AmeriPro is only concerned with their bottom line and not the safety of there employees or patients.
