I applied on Indeed and promptly received a response with three initial questions, which I answered. However, during the attempt to schedule a phone screening, I was unexpectedly provided with an email containing 20 detailed, multi-part questions. This was surprising as we hadn't yet established mutual interest, discussed salary, or received additional details about the job or company.
