Structured questions, got a good vibe of the culture. A few case studies as you progressed through, need good problems solving and consulting tool kit. Met with lots of the team
I applied online. I interviewed at Adaptovate (Singapore)
Interview
I went for the interview out of curiosity as a friend had a very negative experience interviewing with them. I would say my experience was similar where my interviewer doesn’t seem to understand the difference between being direct and simply being rude.
During my interview a simple case was given and she asked me how would I structure my approach for the first 3 months of the project. After I shared my approach with her, she commented my structure was poor and I should have structured it in week 1, week 2 and week 3. I took her comment as a pinch of salt as I literally just finished an interview with BCG and one of the feedback given was I have very good structure. Furthermore I really don’t agree structuring your project in the format of week 1,2 and 3 provides any strategic and high level insights, really reflects a lot on their company and what are the type of projects they do.
Overall very hostile way of talking and somehow very arrogant for no reason.
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that your experience didn’t meet your expectations. At Adaptovate, we strive to provide constructive feedback in every interview and will use your comments to continue improving our process.
We wish you all the best in your career journey.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Adaptovate (Singapore) in Jun 2024
Interview
The 4-stage interview covered various aspects (which the recruitment team will share after round 1), and I was pleased that the interviewers were the colleagues I later worked closely with. This gave me insight into their personalities and helped me gauge whether I would fit well within the team. I recommend that you brush up on Agile practices and how is it applied in industry
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Use Agile practices to address a client problem. I recommend that interviewees not only brush up on Agile terms/ practices but also think how it is applied in various situations (cost savings, revenue growth, PMO, addressing change).
