      Product Manager Interview

      13 Feb 2017
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Chalfont, PA
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through other source. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at AWeber (Chalfont, PA) in Sept 2016

      Interview

After reading all of the ugly nasty reviews here on GD I still decided to be interviewed on site at Aweber during one of their career open house nights. I immediately got the sense that most of the employees there did not want to be doing the event. Some were friendly most were not. I got the impression it was a "show off" type event so the CEO could brag about the building and how awesome everything there is. Morale seemed very low. I spoke with several other candidates and they had applied and interviewed several times without ever even getting an offer. The selection process there is mind boggling. This company does Email marketing campaigns not rocket science. Anyway the interview lasted about 15 minutes with the interviewer. He obviously was not very impressed with anything I had to say and basically quit talking toward the end.

      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at AWeber (Chalfont, PA) in Nov 2016

      Interview

2 Phone Calls and 1 Onsite interview. First phone call was with recruiter and asked usual resume validation questions and basic PM questions. Second phone call was with Director of Product. Lots of PM related questions and information on the company structure. In onsite interview I met with various departments and was interviewed with typical PM questions and some questions about my background also. A project and presentation session ended the onsite interview. Everyone was very friendly and I had a great time.

      29 Jan 2015
      Anonymous employee
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at AWeber

      Interview

Initially applied directly through a posting on the corporate website. Had a phone interview, then an onsite interview with the recruiter and hiring manager, then a final onsite interview that included two panel interviews and one simulated project. This was a very positive experience overall! I felt supported through each step.
