I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at ATI (Cudahy, WI) in Mar 2026
Interview
I interviewed for two different positions approximately 3 months apart: product quality engineer and metallurgical engineer. Both interview experiences were standard. A phone screening with HR, a video call with a few of the hiring team, and finally an on-site panel interview. In both cases the hiring teams were very professional and polite, I think that they would have been great to work with. HR and recruiting, however, were not communicative at all. The only time I ever heard from the recruiter was before the interview process. As I write this review now, I have accepted a position at another company, it has been over 6 weeks since my final in-person panel interview, and I haven't received any communication from them. Steer clear unless you have no other prospects or have months to wait for an answer.
Virtual and in-person interview. Interviewers seemed fairly nice, but did not feel like an enjoyable place to work. Seems like there was tension in the workplace community, at least between the operators and management. Plant also felt run-down and unsafe in some areas.

I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at ATI in Feb 2024
Interview
The interview process was pretty standard and formal. We met on Microsoft Teams for a 30-minute interview session with the manager for the role. Ultimately it was about what I expected the interview would be like.
