I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at 8am in Jun 2026
Interview
Recruiter Interview - 30 min
Coderbyte Assessment - 120 min
Hiring Manager Interview - 30 min
Country Manager Interview - 30 min
React Interview - 60 min
System Design & Architecture Interview - 60 min
Product Interview - 30 min
I have mixed feelings. Some parts were great, others terrible.
8am approached me. They communicated OK during the interview (aside from two issues: blurred/virtual backgrounds were strictly forbidden, yet interviewers used them themselves, and one interviewer was working on something else throughout), but then they stopped. I asked for an update on my progress and I got a generic rejection email. I asked for details and I got an out-of-office auto-reply, meaning the rejection had not even been sent by the person who signed it. The following week the recruiter called, but no specific reason was provided. It is not worth investing six hours in a company only to receive no feedback.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Many interviewers asked product management related questions.
The brief HR call, then the technical assignments.
The 1st one was more like an interview about the experience and current work. The second was more techy and included a questions from the different areas (Infra, CICD, networking, git workflow, etc). The difficulty was pretty average. I didn't pass it because I was preparing to something different - I was tackling the leetcode tasks in Ruby, but on the interview I was asked to find a bug in a snippet of bash code. The interview was OK overall.
Natural conversation, friendly interviewers, more focused on experience related and behavioral questions. A few scenario based questions to test product thinking skills during HM round. Interviewers seemed kind friendly and supportive throughout the process.
