I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at 405 Solutions (Oklahoma City, OK) in Jul 2013
Interview
I answered an e-mail that was sent out to me regarding my resume that was sent to them through career builder. I was a little skeptical at first but the receptionist who I spoke with was very friendly so I decided to come in and try it out. The office was clean, there was some good music on and there was a really good energy with the other candidates in the lobby.
I was invited back for another interview the following day. I got to see what the DirecTV marketing strategy was all about. Unlike other traditional forms of outsourced marketing, they were actually set up in a retail location. I was relieved to see that they didn't do any type of cold calling door to door or business to business. The guy that I "shadowed" was very helpful on answering all of my questions.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
There weren't any really difficult questions, it was pretty straightforward. I'm glad they do the second interview so that way I could see if it seemed like something I could do or not.
I applied online. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at 405 Solutions (Oklahoma City, OK) in Jun 2013
Interview
It is a 3-interview process. The first interview was in my opinion an assessment of communication skills. Most of the info they asked about they could get from my resume, but everyone in the office is very personable and talkative and I got the impression that's a big part of their culture. It also included a simple personality quiz.
The second interview was a couple hours. I was interviewed by an account manager, which was pretty cool because I asked him a ton of questions. The campaign was for DirecTV, and the sale was pretty easy but I think they wanted to make sure I could interact with customers.
The final interview was a phone conversation with the Branch Manager.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
This isn't really a question but the most important thing was to make it clear that I was focused on leadership roles and growing in the company. My interviewer told me if someone was too focused on sales, they usually didn't get offered a position.
I applied through other source. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at 405 Solutions (Oklahoma City, OK) in May 2013
Interview
Very pleasant initial phone call, inviting me to an interview the next day. I get there and basically sit in line with several other people interviewing for presumably the same position. They won't tell you up front, but they'll invite you to a second interview and advise you not to wear heels. It's basically door-to-door sales. The second interview is "shadowing" someone. Remember that this is Oklahoma City, in the summer, it's hot. Also it's commission based. If that's what you're into, go for it. I was offered a second interview later in the day after my first, but I declined after researching it a little more.
