I applied through other source. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at 1on1 Learning with Laptops (Fontana, CA)
Interview
Cold call from Monster. I basically interviewed on phone. Not feeling it I gave a lot of smart-assed answers, but my qualifications are probably way beyond what they usually see in this. Man, only took the job to get some experience and access to materials that would benefit my own brood, but I developed a connection to the students, which is the only reason I haven't quit them outright.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
It was pretty standard. I had a hard time parsing what she was saying, since I think she was working from a poorly worded corporate script.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at 1on1 Learning with Laptops (Los Angeles, CA) in Mar 2013
Interview
There was no actual interview. It was just an orientation about what we can or cannot do. The main thing was filling out the paperwork, legal documents, and a background check. The background check payment was deducted from my paycheck, the company itself did not pay for it. They also did not notify me that they were going to do that, so I went out on my own to purchase the live print fingerprinting. It was cheaper than what they offered.
