Pros
This is a 5-star team being held back by 1-star leadership. My rating lands at 2 stars to reflect both truths. The people I worked with were smart, collaborative, and deeply committed to our clients' success. I appreciated the opportunity to contribute cross-functionally, mentor new hires, and support a mission-driven client base. Remote work was structurally supported, though true flexibility became more limited over time. Strong peer relationships remained a consistent bright spot.
Cons
Significant leadership turnover and restructuring led to frequent shifts in priorities without clear communication or support. Expectations were often ambiguous, performance metrics evolved without notice, and feedback loops were filtered or dismissed. Although many individuals worked hard to bridge the gaps, Director-level leadership consistently failed to model transparency, engagement, or accountability. Over time, this eroded morale and made it difficult for even strong performers to succeed.
