Pros

An excellent product that our customers absolutely love. PMPC is scaling and there is loads of opportunity and growth within the company. The company offers excellent benefits to grow your own career and the overall benefits package is the best I've had in my career. The company lives its value throughout the entire organisation and everyone has been very supportive to work with. My interview process was very well run. The recruitement team were extremely responsive and all the interviewers were great to speak with. I'm delighted that I made the decision to join PMPC as I believe I can grow my career with a supportive company and an excellent product.

Cons

I can't fault for the company for anything. Like any scaling company, there are growing pains but these are being ironed out.

Pros

I have been working with Patch My PC for the past three months, and in that short time, I have seen the effort that management and the company's founders have put into making the working atmosphere second to none. From the onboarding process to my everyday working environment, it is the little things that make this company great. The benefits are focused on not only you but also your family, dealing with medical cover and ensuring programs to support both your mental and physical health are offered. The other thing that I have discovered is that your role within the company is not something that needs to be put in concrete; if you have value in other areas, you won't be siloed. This provides the ability to transition to roles that you might not have initially thought of or weren't available, with the full support of the company from the top down. Then it's the other nice touches, like a box of sweets for your kids, a note to your better half on their birthday, and internal praise for your efforts as an employee. I would say that I have been fortunate in my career to work for great employers, and Patch My PC levelled this up to the next level. I would highly recommend them to anyone as an employer! I hope to be here for many many years to come!

Cons

None really. You could potentially get higher salaries with others, but when you consider everything, being happy and getting good market pay is a great combination.

Thank you so much for the thoughtful review! It’s great to hear how positive your experience has been, from onboarding to the everyday work environment. Creating a supportive culture where people feel valued and have room to grow is a big focus for us, so it’s encouraging to hear that reflected in your experience. You’re right about salary. There are companies out there that pay higher cash compensation. We aim to stay within a competitive range within our benchmarks for cash compensation, but it’s true that you could make a little more elsewhere for cash compensation. We really try to add extra value to the total rewards package with world-class benefits, retirement, work flexibility, and fostering an environment where you feel supported and can grow! We’re grateful to have you on the team and part of our journey of improving lives, and I'm excited to see all the ways you’ll continue to make an impact. - Justin Chalfant

Pros

I’ve been with the company for nearly two years and have found that there are good opportunities to grow internally. The work is fast-paced, which keeps things interesting and engaging, and the projects feel meaningful. I also feel I can contribute to the company’s broader goals, which are clearly communicated by the leadership team. Most people across the company seem to practice a growth mindset, which creates a positive environment for learning and improvement. The company’s values are also taken seriously and are reflected in how people approach their work.

Cons

I haven’t experienced any standout cons at Patch My PC so far. Since we all work remotely, it could be nice to have more opportunities to meet colleagues in person from time to time. That said, it’s not really a negative since I chose to work for a remote company and the flexibility that comes with it.

Really appreciate you taking the time to share this. It means a lot. I’m glad you’ve had opportunities to grow and that the work feels meaningful. That’s something we care a lot about. We want people to feel like they’re making a real impact, not just checking boxes. The note about growth mindset and living our values day to day is especially great to hear. That’s one of those things that’s easy to say and harder to actually do. On the remote side, we hear the feedback about wanting more in person time pretty consistently, and I agree it matters. It's one reason we do our annual company summit to bring everyone together, which has been great. Starting this year, we’re also delegating budget to department leaders so teams can plan additional meetups when it makes sense. For example, our Accounts side of Customer Success is meeting up in June, and our Customer Engineer team is getting together in April. So, this is something we’re actively working on that you should see soon. Thanks again for being part of the team and for everything you’re doing to help us improve. - Justin Chalfant
