Pros
The staff at the bottom (i.e. non managers) are the only thing that makes this company work. We really work hard for and support eachother for less than market rate pay.
Cons
- Management are ineffective and unaccountable. Senior leadership ask for suggestions but never implement them. - Managers and SLT keep their distance and nothing they ever do is transparent. - HR are unhelpful and there to protect the company, not the employees. - Pay is low compared to other companies. - Management constantly fire fighting without fixing root cause of problems. - Staff morale is low with a high turnover of staff, length of service and loyalty not rewarded. - There is an "us and them" culture within the legacy organizations. - Poor training. - Always looking for the cheapest option, inevitably the cheapest option fails and there is then a greater cost to redo something again properly.
