Pros
- The mission is a challenge as its ever evolving as we learn more about health & human impact of choices made from ingredients, packaging, and beyond
- Fast paced, entrepreneurial spirit
- There is LOTS of opportunity to gain new skills, you just have to put your hand up
- You feel proud of the work that goes into the products when you see the amazing clinical results and how happy the consumers are
- The brand was at the forefront of the clean beauty movement. There were a lot of followers / imitators, but they never quite met what Beautycounter was.
- Gregg is an inspirational leader in my opinion. I don't think she'd be judged as harshly as described in other reviews if she were a man.
Cons
- The company was in fast growth mode and that sometimes made it a challenges to ensure all business verticals were in the know for how quickly decisions and changes happened.
- It's not an environment for someone that needs a lot of direction - it's a brand for self-starters or driver/driver personalities
- The business model drove the price points high, making it challenging to prove the products were 'worth the price' beyond experiencing them
