From rock concerts in California to office parties in Connecticut, Anago is a cleaning machine. Anago Franchising offers commercial cleaning services through franchises in more than 35 regional offices in 20 states stretching across the US from Washington, DC, to Hawaii. Taking its name from the Greek word anagoge, meaning to "uplift or guide," the company creates regional master franchises and smaller unit franchises while administrative tasks are handled by Anago headquarters through the Internet. The cleaning company was founded by Chairman David Povlitz and in 1989. Anago began franchising in 1991.
