We are currently recruiting for an experienced Accounts Payable Supervisor to join our team at Carton House.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage AP email folder.
• Maintaining a good relationship with suppliers.
• Manage the 'Checked Balances' stage of the POs on Procure Wizard, make sure delivery docs signed and check nominal coding before completing the invoices.
• Open new supplier accounts on Accounts package and Procure Wizard.
• Transferring completed invoices from Procure Wizard to Accounts Package
• Manage non - Food Beverage suppliers on the ledger - creditor recs, queries etc.
• Reporting discrepancies to suppliers, following up on replacements or credit notes.
• Assist with the weekly payment run for urgent payments - gather all relevant documentation and present to the Director of Finance for approval.
• Responsible for accurate recording and filing of paperwork, and the distribution of received goods to correct department Profit & Loss Statements.
• Monthly payment run - ensure all back up docs are present sign offs obtained from HODs. Process and upload to bank for payment approval.
• Review creditor accounts and AP listing - make sure any creditor balance with creditor statement.
• Provide information for KPI reporting.
• Support the development and maintenance of internal controls and AP procedures.
• Provide day-to-day support to the Accounts Payable Team Lead and wider finance function
• Assist with ad hoc finance tasks as required

Key Requirements:

• 2 years AP experience in a hotel environment.
• Excellent time management skills ability to work under pressure.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills
• Intermediate Excel
• Ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Experience with Procure Wizard and/or SUN is desirable but not essential.
