Anyone interview with Lockheed Martin?
Currently at a T2 consulting firm working at post MBA level (been at the firm for 4-5 years). I have a job offer at a big tech company (Google, FB, Amazon) in Strategy & Ops with total comp slightly below what it is at my firm. I don't think I want to stay in consulting long term (the hours and stress are getting to me) Would you take this offer?
These days … any role I am applying for, I am getting rejected without getting any interviews, and I am well qualified for the positions I am applying for. Is anyone else in the same situation? How are you getting interviews
What offer to accept: 1) AI- Lead Director level role at a small tech startup company. TC $250k or 2.) Manager level at Bain in TMT strategy for $270k. Obviously Bain is better comp and is Bain but does hands on applied ownership of AI and Director title matter more?
Received an offer but now having second thoughts. Is there a polite way to convey to a recruiter that you've gotten cold feet after receiving an offer (in line with the number you asked for) without coming off like a bad guy? Comp not being in line with expectations is out the door- but what else could I mention as a valid reason?
7 years out of undergrad (ivy league business program), ~4 years in MBB, then ~2 years on the internal strategy team at a major philanthropy, now ~6 months in strategic partnerships at a startup. Got an L4 offer for Strategic Partner Manager at Google. Didn’t know about leveling when I applied and probably should’ve targeted L5. It’s a meaningful paycut ($205k, $155k options) Google Y1 ~$230k vs current ~$275k Base: $155 (current $205) Bonus: 15% Equity: $105k Sign on bonus: $15k Thoughts?
who hasnt man
I have..numerous times
Well I am an internal candidate, and I already have a clearance. It depends on the manager and role really...some more fast, some move slow. Just like pretty much every other large corporation
