    The position: Group Reporting Accountant


    The successful candidate will be expected to enhance the strength of the Global Finance Team in order to meet the ambitious strategic and reporting goals of the business. This role reports to the Group Reporting Manager and may require some travel.

    The role will also work closely with various department heads.


    Location:
    This role is based at AMCS Group HQ, City East Plaza, Castletroy, Ballysimon, Limerick.


    Key responsibilities of the position are as follows:


    Financial Reporting

    • Consolidated monthly reporting, in line with tight reporting deadlines
    • Preparation of monthly board pack and liaising with other departments for both commercial and financial commentary
    • Regular investor reporting and other ad hoc reporting requirements
    • Acquisition reporting
    • Participate in external audit process, liaise with auditors, and preparation of consolidated Financial Statements


    Forecasting, Budgeting & Other Reporting

    • Assist in all areas of budgeting, forecasting and preparation of strategic plans, including the coordination, completion and maintenance of the budgeting model
    • Assist in the preparation of monthly P&L and cashflow forecasts with associated commentary
    • Develop and implement dashboards and ad hoc reports and analysis when requested


    Change Management

    • Experience with acquisition and system integrations is preferable.
    • Must be able to work on own initiative and identify and implement continuous improvement processes.
    • Must be able to engage in and drive digital transformation projects.


    Qualifications & Experience

    • The successful candidate will have a primary degree qualification in Business/Accounting & Finance and a professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
    • A minimum of 1 years’ experience in a similar role is required and experience or knowledge of the Software Industry would be a distinct advantage!

    • Ability to multi-task and prioritize work in order to meet critical deadlines
    • Track record of meeting tight time deadlines and commitments
    • Energetic, enthusiastic and possessing a highly accountable leadership style
    • Results focused, and metric driven with excellent analytical abilities
    • A good understanding and experience of ERP systems internal controls
    • Team oriented mindset with ability to work well across functions and geographies
