WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

The Product Manager will be responsible for defining, documenting, and working with cross-functional teams across Click on the implementation of new features and products, focusing on our full catalog of product offerings. Through constant monitoring of customers, competitors, and changes in the market, you will define and maintain requirements that deliver on both customer needs and maintains ClickDimensions position as a leader within the marketing automation space and internal Click project excellence. You will ensure that development resources are effectively utilized, identify, and mitigate risk, continually look to improve processes, and evaluate and prioritize backlog to ensure alignment with product roadmap.

Flexibility and the willingness to participate in change initiatives will be important to success in this position.

YOUR DAY TO DAY

Active Participant Product SDLC

• Responsible for documenting product requirements, customer use cases and NFRs; writing user stories and acceptance criteria; and publishing success criteria and metrics
• Participate in all engineering stand-ups and provide functional updates and clarity
• Identify opportunities to extend and enhance ClickDimensions marketing automation platform by leveraging capabilities within Microsoft Dynamics and/or Microsoft Power Platform.
• Stay up-to-date with all the latest updates to Microsoft Dynamics.
• Continually groom and/or groom the product backlog.
• Identify and clarify the cross-functional implications of all product decisions and ensure that critical business issues are surfaced and considered.
• Serve as a customer advocate in considering product decisions that will impact the customer.
• Ensure that product specifications meet high standards and quality before launch.
• Consistently adhere to defined processes.
• Leverage a strong technical background to participate in conversations with the Engineering team.
• Identify high-value opportunities and work with user experience and engineering to continuously improve the product.
• Ensure that product specifications are understood and deliverable by the engineering team (translate business requirements into technical requirements).
• Ensure that product releases/features are in alignment with the goals/strategies outlined by the product management team.
• Validate that all features meet the definition of done.
• Quickly come up to speed on the marketing automation platform.
• Provide guidance on application functionality to other departments such as support, customer success, and professional services.
• Apply a strong understanding of agile methodologies and product development best practices.

Cross-Organizational Interaction

• Work with head of Product and Engineering to ensure team goals are clear and aligned
• Provide regular status updates to their manager on product status from concept through launch.
• Present the information necessary to make informed approval, prioritization, and trade-off decisions.
• Communicate key product metrics to manager.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key business owners and senior management.

Organizational Development

• Assist manager and team in developing and implementing scalable processes and/or tools to increase quality and productivity.
• Support organization in ongoing change management, improving product management, product development, and project management practices.

30 days

• Get up to speed on Click products, processes, internal systems and get to know the team

60 days

• Continue onboarding and start evaluating our Campaign Automation solution

90 days

• Document all issues and improved UI and start working with development team on mapping our release schedule and implementation

Regular check-ins with manager, LMS onboarding, support from broader support team.

WHAT YOU BRING TO CLICKDIMENSIONS

• QA and Product Management/BA experience, strong PM experience working cross-functional with a diverse international team.
• 3+ years’ experience with CRM and revenue stack tools.
• 3+ years of experience in software product management or business analysis experience.
• Experience in an Agile environment is required.
• Strong technical acumen and technology writing is a must.
• Strong critical thinking, analytical skills, and a proactive approach is a must.
• Strong problem solving is a must.
• Experience in Cloud based software (SaaS).
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics and knowledge of Microsoft technologies. (Preferably in a development or consulting capacity.)
• Marketing automation and/or digital marketing agency experience/knowledge is a definite plus.
• Usability and customer-focused design experience a plus.
• Excellent communicator.
• Highly detail-oriented and intellectually curious.
• Strong analytical, prioritization and negotiating skills
