Position
Title: Graduate Business Analyst
Department: Analytics
& Technology Team - Global Orthopaedics (GO) PLAN Excellence group
, DePuy
Reporting to: Supply Chain Analytics & Technology Manager

Job Purpose:

The successful candidate will join a team focused on
the transformation of the End to End (E2E) Supply Chain for DePuy through
fact-based, data driven analysis & modelling to drive process &
business improvements. The candidate will work across all business units &
geographical regions to provide insights on customers, business performance and
financial improvements across the business. Responsibilities include but are
not limited to:
  • Working with business Subject Matter Experts to process map and document
    reporting & analysis processes.
  • Working with business users to validate output and integrate the
    reporting and analytics into business processes.
  • Produce & deliver accurate operational performance reporting
  • Identify new data points for enhanced
    reporting to improve business operations.
  • Drive change in business processes through the use of advanced analytics
    in partnership with cross-functional supply chain teams & data science
    specialists. Uses analytical & quantitative methods to understand, predict
    & enhance supply chain performance.
  • Gather & analyse data to solve complex problems & evaluate
    scenarios to make predictions on future outcomes & support decision making.
  • Align with finance on the measurement and reporting of the cost
    savings/changes associated with the improvements in business processes/results
    as a consequence of the advanced analytics.
  • Support the supply chain analytical capability strategy.
  • Identify opportunities and solutions to leverage and grow analytics
    capability.

    analytical capability of the Global Orthopaedics Supply Chain.

Education and Experience:
  • Recent
    Graduate (2017 or due to graduate in 2018). Must hold a minimum of a third-level
    degree in a Computer Science / Programming, Mathematics, Business, BIS, Supply
    Chain, Operational Research, Engineering or related related discipline
  • Capable of working within
    a project team to achieve results
  • Skilled
    in the use of problem solving tools/techniques an advantage
