Continuing the impact, our Unifi After Dark team completed its 23rd breakroom refresh at Daniel K. Inouye International Airport (HNL). Seeing our frontline team step into a renewed space—built for rest, connection, and care—shows exactly why this work matters. Thank you to our HNL team for everything you do and for welcoming us into your space.
We kicked off the Southwest Airlines Airlines start-up at Eugene Airport a few days sooner than expected, with our first flight taking off 6 minutes early. This station also represents a new chapter in how we support Southwest—built on trust, teamwork, and a shared commitment to great customer care.
At just 21 years old, Chance McCrodan is leading nearly 40 employees as a Security Screening Supervisor at Los Angeles International Airport. “I started as a screener, and within two months I was promoted to lead watch commander on the night shift,” Chance recalls. “Two months after that, I got the opportunity to apply for the midshift supervisor position. It’s been a fast journey — one filled with growth.” For Chance, aviation runs in the family. “My mom has been in aviation pretty much her entire life, and she’s the reason I wanted to work around aircraft,” he says. “She works for Unifi too, in a different department. I always heard how well Unifi treated her and how positive the environment was, so when I applied, I already knew it was a company that valued its people.” Read more: https://www.linkedin.com/.../leading-way-21-chance.../...
During the recent government shutdown, our Unifi Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport - MSP team demonstrated care and support for federal employees—delivering bagels, fruit, and coffee to air traffic controllers, contributing to the airport food bank to assist TSA employees, and coming together to ensure they know their dedication is seen, valued and deeply appreciated!
We are honored to receive the Employer Recognition Award from New American Pathways. At our Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport station, the Job Ready English program has become more than a class—it’s a space where employees learn, connect, and build confidence together. This recognition belongs to every teammate whose passion for learning and supporting others helps Unifi grow stronger together.
Nearly 100 of our frontline leaders came together at Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) for a Leadership Growth Workshop focused on connection, collaboration and our shared purpose to Elevate People. From safety to service, our leaders left energized and aligned—ready to make a meaningful impact as they continue delivering exceptional passenger experiences and upholding our commitment to safety and service excellence.
Our team at Albert J. Ellis Airport (OAJ) was proud to partner with Marine Corps Community Services (MCCS) and the Exceptional Family Member Program (EFMP) to support military families who have children with special accessibility and educational needs. Together with Delta Air Lines and Endeavor Air, we gave families a behind-the-scenes look at aviation—exploring the cockpit, stepping onboard and experiencing the magic of flight up close.
Twice the magic, twice the impact. Recently, our Unifi After Dark team refreshed the breakrooms at Denver International Airport (DEN) and Charleston International Airport (CHS). It was sheer joy to see our people walk into these thoughtful surprises—spaces to recharge, connect and feel valued. Thank you to the team for bringing the Unifi spirit to every refresh.
Strength isn’t just about muscle—at Chicago O'Hare International Airport, it’s teamwork and collaboration that make the difference, especially when pulling a 95,000 lb United Airlines 737. Our crew joined the O’Hare Airline Managers Association (OAMA) Plane Pull, raising funds for the Special Olympics and putting their teamwork to the test by pulling the plane twelve feet across the ramp. It was a great reminder that when we come together for a cause, teamwork and dedication can move just about anything.
Summer wrapped up on a high note at Chicago O’Hare International Airport (ORD)! The team ended the peak travel season with celebrating not one, but two big wins in this year’s I’M COMMITTED campaign — taking home trophies for their creative Security Search Trivia event and their “Taking Care of Nature” barrel design contest in the Environment category. A huge shout-out to the ORD crew for closing the season strong and showing once again how teamwork and dedication make all the difference.
