At the FedEx’s hub in Memphis, our Unifi bus drivers play a critical role behind the scenes, safely transporting FedEx team members across one of the world’s busiest logistics operations—helping keep packages moving across the country and around the globe. This week marked six months of our partnership in Memphis, and we couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate than by showing appreciation for the people who make it all happen. Randall Johnson thought he was walking into a routine employee appreciation event at Norfolk International Airport. He wasn't. His mom, sister, aunt, and grandmother were waiting. So was a $5,000 check — a thank-you for the heroism he showed on a recent Delta flight. But the money goes beyond one brave moment. Not long ago, he rode his bike to work every day. He saved, bought a car, and made a home for himself and his mom. "This job changed my life for the better," he said. Across our stations, Unifi wheelchair attendants help passengers who need mobility support navigate the airport every day. From check-in to gate, they help travelers move safely and comfortably through busy terminals. It’s work that takes patience, coordination and care — and you can see it in how our teams show up for every passenger. We’re proud of the people who provide this support across our network.
