I worked for Realworld one India for 1.5 years and in my experience, it is a very good company with strong fundamentals and a lot of potential to become very big player in the VR/AR for business domain. It has all the advantages of being a small company - Less management, wide scope of responsibilities, one-one interactions, freedom of expression, freedom to ideate/innovate etc. A big plus is to work with an international team and culture. All my previous experiences were with IT services giants like TCS and Infosys but this is still the best experience because of the advantages mentioned above. I left Realworld one India but I am I am still part of the parent company in a different location, in a different role. So, I did not leave the company in the short period of 1.5 years.

Cons

The company is independent with an Indian leadership and it is leading very well as far as I can see. I personally do not find any issues working with the company. If you are coming from a big company, you might have used internal portals and well defined workflows for non-work related tasks like Health insurance or Tax proofs. But RW1 being a small company, such HR, payroll, Taxation are semi-automated ie, a few things are in portal like salary slip but still a few things are communicated over email. This is not a con but I just wanted to write it down in this column.

Pros

Good money, exceptional human resources team, short projects, plenty of good contacts.

Low output motivation, not so interesting artisticly, little skill progression.

Good Company, serious, need best organization but they are working on it. Great payments. Good teamwork and people there. Nothing toxic, people is kind and professional, working with them is a blast. Management is good, no crunch but days of hard work, followed of days of rest.

Cons

Company is growing and is a bit of chaos inside right now, some people leaving, many people coming. For a freelancer there is no certainty if you are going to have work on next weeks or not, that needs to be improved.

The recruiting process was very comfortable . They exemplified the company culture on all stages . At the end of every call , they explained the next steps which was well - structured . Once hired , I noticed everyone is very accomodating and happy to help .

No disadvantages as such , I would expect work to be tasking but everyone has already mentioned they would help me through every step .
