I have been working at Voxpro Communications full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    - Good athmosphere with colleagues
    - Build a very strong experience in negociation skills

    Cons

    - staggered hours
    - a relative involvement of some team managers

    Advice to Management

Take more into account the specificities of the French market and the fact that it is much more difficult to achieve the targets in terms of NPS and therefore adapt the bonuses and prospects of evolution

I worked at Voxpro Communications full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Good people, lots of opportunities, very nice campus, a good starting point for youngsters and/or foreigners

    Cons

if you ain't part of the clique you won't get ahead, low pay, very poor benefits package, the atmosphere has gone downhill after the sale to Telus now just another call centre, no training to advance personally.

    Advice to Management

Stop promoting your family/friends most of them are useless and not suitable. Pay packages across different contracts is way too big. Training should be available to move between contracts.

I have been working at Voxpro Communications full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Great team, good benefits, lots of internal opportunities if you want them and work hard. Everything is pretty laid back and relaxed.

    Cons

No paid sick leave, terrible gym. Salaries are low overall and there aren't enough employee events, fun days, employee engagement activities. No wifi on campus.

    Advice to Management

TMs should have more/better training. Increase employee engagement and opportunities for bonuses.

I worked at Voxpro Communications full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The people on the floor are nice to work with, depending on the team.

    Cons

HR, while I was there, was an absolute mess - lost documents constantly, disorganised, and any feedback given seemed to mysteriously disappear. In my exit interview, I brought up a couple points I'd been raising for at least a year beforehand, and the response was as if they'd never heard it before.

It took months for any action to be taken against a toxic team lead, partly due to upper management protecting him.

Unrealistic expectation in terms of productivity; some teams are constantly understaffed. Perhaps as a result, towards the end new hires were barely trained before being live on the phones, leading to everything getting dumped with the senior teams.

Frustratingly image-conscious without paying any attention to employees' needs. I'm told they have sick pay now, which wasn't the case while I was here. After a move to the new building, the wifi - which we needed to do our jobs - wasn't working for about a month, but there was apparently plenty of time and money to decorate the new space for the fancy corporate event. (Which the staff, predictably, wasn't invited to.) Similarly, we were constantly told about corporate expansion, but any talk of extra benefits or salary increases was immediately shut down.

    Advice to Management

Listen to your employees, or at least don't act all surprised when the same thing comes up over and over again.

I worked at Voxpro Communications full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Voxpro is a great stepping stone, especially for recent graduates or people from abroad. Employees get along great here and have a good team spirit.

    Cons

Compared to other companies, Voxpro's salary is not very competitive. Workdays can get messy sometimes due to poor organisation and lack of efficiency.

    Advice to Management

Get organised and listen to your employees - you could keep a lot more fantastic people if you invest a small bit more (financially and on an employee engagement level)
