Doesn't RecommendNegative OutlookI worked at Veda Advantage full-time for more than a year
Pros
I met a coupe of good people here who have became long-term friends.
Cons
If I could give it a negative star I would, out of my 20 years working in the corporate world this is the most insidious, negative, unsupportive, unethical, and toxic work place I have worked. There are always some pros and cons in most offices, but Veda takes the award hands down in my opinion as the worst place to work and I thought I had seen it all..... - Terrible management with bullying behaviour that takes people to hell and back - Top award for the worst HR Department - no discretion, confidentiality and trust - AVOID - Serious HR complaints ignored, swept under the carpet and employees pacified with the threat of their big lawyers - Management are deceitful - promises never delivered to lure talent or dangle the carrot whilst working there but they never deliver on which results in many people leaving - No team spirit - every man for himself making it disjointed and difficult to work with so many egos and people fighting - No talent management - no investment in good staff thus a high turnover in staff resulting in your own work load increasing - No accountability, ethics, values or morals that they preach in management - FAKE - Inefficient systems and processes - frustrating and way too much time spent with manual work around's that are embarrassing if you are client facing - Terrible office morale - Too many incompetent people in management who no nothing and are not vetted or screened correctly impacting other people's workloads - who were vetted and spent time doing tests to get in - go figure.

Doesn't RecommendI worked at Veda Advantage full-time
Pros
The nature of the work is inriguing, Felt great working on credit files and processing credit checks.
Cons
Horrible managers. No scope of growth and development. Managers are racists. Too much of work load. Many staff were made redundant in the New Zealand office in 2013 and the remaining staff had to slog, taking on the work load without any perks in salary. Overtime was pretty much the norm every week. Team performance was not measured regularly and certain members of the team were favoured over others. Horrible experience overall.

RecommendsPositive OutlookApproves of CEOI have been working at Veda Advantage full-time for more than 3 years
Pros
-Sales incentives are above market by far -flexible working conditions -great products who blow their competition out of the water by far - cafe onsite , offering highly discounted coffee/food for staff! - great friends to be made here with staff
Cons
- Hard to get promoted, talent nearly always hired externally , causing existing staff to exit the business -Hard to get a remuneration review here, even though the business is performing very well

RecommendsPositive OutlookI worked at Veda Advantage full-time
Pros
Nice office, location was bit far, but good if you live in the northern suburbs. Very motivated people, friendly colleagues. Good if you are in certain groups like marketing, IT departments.
Cons
Lot of politics, can get hierarchical and all thinks of position and promotions. Don't really look after staff too well. Can get very stressful at times

Doesn't RecommendNegative OutlookI worked at Veda Advantage full-time for more than 3 years
Pros
the only pro I can think of are your colleagues become family and make your job so much more bearable and they are the reason why so many people stay.
Cons
I worked for Veda for 2.5years in operations. Everything else about Veda is a con apart from the people you meet and work with, poor management, horrible salary, promotions and value of staff is overlooked, complaints are ignored, over worked, expect way too much, no staff consideration and/or appreciation, implement systems that don't work, huge! back log due to system inefficiency to complete the desired job, staff are then over worked and placed on unrealistic targets/stats and not appreciated for all the extra work that is required. Need I say more!?

Doesn't RecommendNeutral OutlookI have been working at Veda Advantage
Pros
The people you work with.
Cons
Management, the extremely poor salary, the expectation to do 3 jobs for one salary, women get paid less than men, internal staff overlooked for hiring although developed to do so. Preferential treatment given to 'friends'. now value on the customer only on revenue
