Pros
Flexible Scheduling, 1 Week payed Vacation and sick days, some really nice people there. opportunity to earn a good income. Tips are common so lunch is usually free, happy our starts at 3PM if you choose to partake in that madness. Employees are permitted to maintain person vehicles on off time(this is almost unheard of in the industry). No need to lock you tools up, employee theft is non existent.
Cons
Inept Management, terrible communication between service desk and the shop, 100+ degrees inside garage 6 months a year, completely disorganized service writing(service records for repeat customers are buried in piles of paperwork), Management will throw you under the bus to cover their own mistakes. terrible maintenance of critical service equipment, no one person has assigned responsibilities. Flat Rate techs end up doing loads of work without compensation, no real way to track your flat rate hours, you must trust inept management to get it right.
