I have been working at USAA full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

work/life balance and no attrition - you can be completely incompetent and still not get fired.

    Cons

no diversity in leadership no opportunities for advancement into executive ranks too many tenured employees with no external experience executives micro-manage and have lost touch with employees Lip service to diversity but 'good old boy' culture is thriving Racism and mysogyny limit opportunities most executive positions filled from the outside and then vacated within a couple years
