    I worked at Trafigura full-time

    Pros

Best people in the business to work with. A lot of responsibility, but also a lot of faith in your abilities. All you need to do is step up.

    Cons

Environment and mood depends on the market. I found the atmosphere professional and a constant learning curve with excellent colleagues.

I have been working at Trafigura full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

    - you work with some of the smartest people from the industry in your role
    - enough independence given to manage your work well
    - good pay (specially variable) for performers

    Cons

read in the same order of pros:
    - you need to be smart and fast enough to follow what is going on or you loose the bus
    - with independence comes responsibility to deliver and the standards are high
    - if you don't perform well, you risk your bonus (which is significant component of the overall salary) and maybe your job as well

Overall if you want a comfortable environment, this is not the place for you.

    Advice to Management

I worked at Trafigura full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    - Exciting and rewarding work - if you're cut out for it
    - Opportunity to work and interact with stakeholders from across the globe
    - One can move desks to handle different products and different regions as you get experienced
    - Company provides transport, so travelling to work isn't as painful as it is generally in Mumbai
    - Managers are really helpful and provide guidance to resolve any pressing issues
    - The compensation is good along with a rewarding bonus structure. If you do well, you are recognized and compensated for it.
    - Benefits (insurance etc.) that are provided are really good and office facilities are world class.
    - One can eventually move to internationally after getting this experience as this industry and these roles have a huge scope in the Middle East.
    - There are really good quarterly and yearly parties!
    - It's a large organization and all the pros that come with it.

    Cons

    - Work can get stressful and overwhelming as operations are live round the clock
    - Work life balance can go for a toss depending on volume of work
    - Hours can get extended at time depending on what region you are handling

    Advice to Management

At times, there are different practices followed at international offices compared to the Mumbai office when it comes to work from home policy, comp off and local holidays - motivation can get affected!

I worked at Trafigura full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

    Good Bonus
Work location & facilities (Transport, food etc.)

    Cons

    No work life balance
    Shrewd management
A worst internal software system (with the management's decision to move from one to another bad software system lots of data is lost or mismatch - which has to be reconciled manually, which leads to long working hours and useless work)
Most of the profiles are no brain and only data entry type work, that means even if you stay longer you won't learn much.

Management believes in hire & fire policy, during my tenor of 5 - 6 years with the company I have witnessed that almost 400 employees were asked to leave.

Strictly not advisable to top tier pass outs.
