I worked at Tim Hortons part-time for more than a year

    Pros

Good for flexibility for students who may be studying part time, but I have heard this is not the case in all stores. Managers are great to work for and are on the floor helping at all times. A strict process to how everything is done. May be over the top sometimes but helps get the job done faster and more efficiently. Good workplace culture, help each other out, lend a hand when needed during busy times, team work really comes together.

    Cons

As with any job, some workplace drama that sometimes get's in the way of work performance. Poor pay, as with any minimum wage job it can create the attitude of "minimum pay, minimum effort". Higher management- when they visit tend to be very arrogant to team members and shift managers. They also tend to approach an authoritarian style.

I worked at Tim Hortons part-time for less than a year

    Pros

Distance from my home Many locations (chances to transfer) Discounts on food

    Cons

Training videos instead of actual training. When you finish the videos you are expected to know everything and perform as well as people who had been there for years In my experience, some co-workers did not put in the same amount of effort as others and made the environment toxic Minimum wage (though it is fast food, still worth noting) Didn't even try to respect my availibility, was constantly scheduled for times I was not available for Force to work holidays Poor communication caused lack of understanding for everyone
