I have been working at The Nature's Bounty Co. full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

Focused on safety. Company's response to the Covid 19 pandemic has been impressive and definitely above and beyond. New management really actually cares about the staff and is actively working to remove the toxic elements from the workplace. Previous shortcomings and valid complaints are being addressed and improved. All things take time, and the bigger the company the longer it takes, but this location is definitely on the upswing to being a five star place to work.

    Cons

The biggest 'con' is there is not much room for advancement in the Sparks location. The reason is that people have stopped flooding out of here like rats deserting a sinking ship. You have to be in it for the long haul here to move up.

I have been working at The Nature's Bounty Co. full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Good pay, good benefits. Interesting work and nice coworkers! There has been improvement over the past three years with new ownership and leadership. This place is actually run like a business now. The emphasis is on growth and we are starting to see strong results. As a large company, there is opportunity to move into different departments and positions.

    Cons

Constant emphasis on results and private equity ownership is not for the faint of heart. Lots of pressure to grow and improve the business can sometimes lead to stress.

I worked at The Nature's Bounty Co. full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Competitive salaries & manager incentive program (yearly bonus). Great industry to be in, particularly in this time of COVID-19 where people will do everything they can to stay healthy.

    Cons

Morale is very low among employees. Lots of turnover due to new leadership bringing in their own folks. Everyone is watching the clock as to when the company will be sold to the next investor or private equity company. Doesn't appear to be staying on Long Island for the long haul.
