I worked at TD full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

    - Great company culture - great credit training program - great people to learn from - collaborative environment

    Cons

    - low pay compared to others in the industry - low market Intel/support - wrong behaviour rewarded via measuring performance. - people would cheat the system to get rewarded - 2 or less years churn due to low pay or excessive work and M&C

    Advice to Management

    - support employees and develop them. - pay employees more to have them stay in the role for longer. - create efficiencies not reduce headcount to increase bottomline.

Current Employee - Marketing Manager in Mount Laurel, NJ
    Doesn't Recommend
    Neutral Outlook
    No Opinion of CEO

I have been working at TD full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

Benefits such as parental leave, PTO, etc are good. If you get a good manager, your career can progress.

    Cons

Culture has changed in recent years and seems the bank only cares about cutting costs by farming call centers offshore and conducting reorganizations to cull staff. Company touts their WOW! culture but rings hollow for most folks.

    Advice to Management

Talent drain is occurring and employees are overworked - try engaging and getting to know your teams to make it clear you care about what your employees are doing personally and professionally. By being less engaged, it may make it easier to go through the restructurings but is demoralizing to your teams.
