In hindsight, they weren't as good as I needed them to be

Remote work, Decent co-workers, minimal compensation for good work
Cons
Nearly Law breaking, Overbearing Supervisors who are on power trips, Shady HR department employees trying to trade you off to other companies for kickbacks.
- Former Employee★★★★★
Pros
Working from home. Like 90% of my supervisors were really good at their jobs but I was one of the lucky ones since I started with most of them and we had great communication but that wasn't usually the case for most employees.
Cons
Lower than average base salary. No pay raise. Management keeps adding tasks and responsibilities with an increase demand on some times less than feasibly targets with no proper training for the new task or for new employees to hit the floor. Bonuses are a joke, they keep switching the goals and most of the time they include requirements that are completely out of your control and believe me this is coming from someone that was top 3% for many years. Extremely limited opportunities to climb the ladder.

Biased, unhealthy work environment- Intersystems middle east
12 Feb 2023 - Anonymous Employee in DubaiRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
The company has good products and has been in the global market for long time.
Cons
In the last few years, after the change of the regional and local management in the middle east region, the company culture has transformed into a biased and unhealthy work environment with negative and hostile behaviour from the management including staff bullying, discrimination, and exclusion. Team members are treated unfairly based mainly on their nationality. People are hired, promoted and supported only if they carry the same nationality of the regional director and the local manager. If you are not part of their small circle, then no matter how talented you are, or how hard you work, you have no chance to grow in the company. The regional HR team is aware of this situation; however, they choose to look the other way.

Great people, great customers. Work from home.
Cons
Low Pay. I can't think of anything else.
- Former Employee, more than 1 year★★★★★
Pros
You get a paycheck and that's about it
Cons
There is no room for growth even after they tell you there is in your interview / hiring process. Management never seems to know whats going on until the last possible minute. Don't bother hoping for a pay raise or bonus, because those wont happen at least not unless you like amazon gift cards and company swag.
