Worst Company I have ever worked for

      Pros

The floor staff are the most hard-working and customer-focused individuals it's a pity that management exploits them.

      Cons

      1. Lack of breaks. You get 1 hr for lunch usually 5+ hours into your shift which is illegal under the Organisation of Working Time Act 1997. Some staff would be rostered in for a 5hr shift and get no 15-minute break during it. 2. 8 hr contracts - most floor staff are on 8 hr contracts split over 2 4 hour shifts. Uniform allowance is based on contract hours. So staff on 8hr contracts end up getting about 80 euro to spend on uniform despite working 30+ hours overtime regularly. Considering the prices for the clothes here that's barely enough for one t-shirt/hoodie and yet they expect staff to ONLY wear Superdry. The hours that you work as a sales associate are never consistent so it's not even ideal for college students. 3. Management - The store manager is easily the worst manager I've had in my entire retail career. Lacks compassion, understanding and time management skills. She would often stay in the shop from 8am until 8pm which stressed staff out and gave the impression that she didn't trust me. I felt as though I wasn't being taken seriously as a Team Leader and was often assigned 'floor staff' tasks when I should've been involved in management meetings and VM training. 3. High turnover of staff - This company is constantly looking for staff and I now understand why. People are constantly leaving the company which is a red flag in of itself.

Decent Staff - Awful Company and Management

      Pros

50% Discount on Clothing + Seasonal Clothing Allowance

      Cons

At the start, there was plenty of staff working on the floor. Year after year, the amount of staff sourced was severely reduced. It was impossible to manage a flagship store with so few floor staff.
