I have been working at Sunrise Senior Living full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Sunrise cares deeply about providing its residents with genuine, loving care. The training provided to give this care as well as the enthusiastic leadership of management makes you feel as though you are truly working an important and impactful job, because you are. This also leads to a culture of comraderie and a unified goal. I believe that Sunrise is an exceptional assisted living company when it comes to providing the best home possible for residents.

    Cons

Sunrise provides extensive training programs for advancing in the company, but the actual opportunities to advance seem to be difficult to come across. Unfortunately, the pay outside of management is low and there is nothing in between an entry-level position and one in management with which you can use you previous experience, as far as I am aware. I do wish that Sunrise showed more care to its employees who carry out its exceptional mission.
