      Destructive & Ugly Sales Model

5 Dec 2017 - Inside Sales Representative in Cork

      Business Outlook

      Pros

Free food every Wed. Free snacks and fruit.

      Cons

The sales attrition rate in this company is absolutely insane. Senseless pressure is permanent even for the top performers. Money isn't good at all as the company tries really hard to pay you the absolute minimum they can. Targets are made up and set so high that nobody but a handful of people (5 out of 45) achieves them, even though you grow your markets quarter after quarter. You are being paid substandard in the industry even though you generate millions for the company. This truly is the worst sales organization with an approach that is destructive not only to the markets but also to the people. There is no work life balance, you cannot even take your holidays as it's never the right time and you are always being denied. The holiday restrictions are set in the contract, no holiday allowed during the last week of the month, and last 2 weeks end of quarter, no holidays in December whatsoever. Truth is that you cant ever get holidays and have to coordinate with your colleagues. You will end up just piling up your holidays from the previous years. Long story short, avoid this company or regret. There is no career progression at all, awful pay, crazy senior management, illogical strategist and this is just the tip of the iceberg. People leaving the company are all glad they did.

      Pros

-Interesting financial bonuses -Cool and smart teammates -Freedom to change teams -Latest technologies in some newer projects -Work/life balance

      Cons

-Low pay -Unnecessarry management level -New CEO and new management makes me feel like in a bad Indian youtube programming video -Horrible code quality in core projects -Almost non-existent integration testing, all is just unit tests and then straight e2e test -Lot of manual tests -New and different projects get abandoned fast -Lot of people quitting after Solarburst -You will be moved a lot, to different teams, constantly switching on which product you'll work -Customer support is a part of the work and sometimes, it's just overwheling. The pressure is felt when release is coming and some important customer issue comes.

Great work-life balance and meaningful work in team of highly-skilled professionals

13 Apr 2021 - Technical Lead Developer in Brno
      Recommend
      CEO Approval
      Business Outlook

      Pros

      * Work-life balance * Wide range of bonuses * Great company culture * Latest technologies (depends on project you are working on) * Options to work on different projects with different technologies * Meaningfull work for top clients around the world * Challenging work * Good agile development processes * Never ending pushing on improvements and innovations * Various internal and external tech events you can visit * Engineering teams with highly-skilled professionals

      Cons

      * Sometimes you have to work with really legacy code but its common for many IT companies. * It is slightly complicated to change or improve something bigger especially when you need a budget for that. You need bunch of people to approve your proposals and it is a long process to go through. * Because of some legacy parts, the building pipeline of bigger projects is fragile and can take long time to have all builds successful.
