Pros
nice colleagues and nice office location. but that's pretty much it.
Cons
they hired a batch of people over the summer, just to have them laid-off before December. after I left, I've heard that they did the same thing again and again with other people. would certainly not recommend to anyone

I cannot think of anything particularly redeeming about Shpock, unfortunately.
Cons
Salaries below the market average Inept leadership/management An unsuccessful and rather uninteresting product They relocate people from 10,000 kilometers away for a job that does not exist 3-4 months after starting employment (as was the case with me) They make offers to people and then rescind them because nobody has any clue of what's going on (both in the present and into the future) They have a history of horribly mistreating candidates interviewing with the company, and as a result have a terrible reputation in the labor market. They were recently acquired by a private equity fund who came in, fired approximately 60% of all employees, and promoted somebody woefully inexperienced (one of their own people -- we love nepotism!) to become CEO. This is also not the first time an entity has acquired Shpock and fired a massive part of the employee base.
