Pros
Decent benefits like healthcare and some perks like paid breakfast for meetings and fun events (this was pre-covid). Able to take vacation without feeling stressed out with work.
Cons
Needs to pay their employees a competitive wage that aligns with the cost of living in their city. Toxic workplace environment, especially in a small retail setting where there isn't space for employees to have distance from each other. Manager plays favoritism and ignores the pleas and constructive feedback from employees about a particular bad employee that is disrespectful and rude to everyone else because they are friends. Relatively high turnover rate because of this toxic environment (from playing favoritism and allowing one bad apple to stay) and poor management (and bad hiring). Also not a lot of diversity in the company in general, usually all caucasian women, but I guess that makes sense with what they are selling and who they are catering to.

Thrilled to be here!
15 Dec 2022 - Design Shop Leader in Atlanta, GARecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
I enjoy going to work everyday. I love what I do, our customers, my colleagues and my team. Work/life balance is supported versus a climate of working 24/7/365. You feel like a valued team member as a result. Feedback is encouraged and solution-driven. When you have past work experiences in unfavorable conditions, you understand all this company has to offer.
Cons
None that I can think of

Excellent Employment Experience, S & L Del Mar
15 Jul 2022 - Design Advisor in Del Mar, CARecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
No employer is perfect, but this one comes close. Pay and benefits are above average. Health insurance is fully paid for by S & L. Who does that anymore? The hours are great and management , Michael and Jaime, are supportive and helpful. There's a great spirit of teamwork and cooperation among the Design Advisors. Needless to say, the product is beautiful and more or less sells itself.
Cons
With inflation at almost 10%, it would be nice to hear that a pay increase is at least under consideration.

Pros
Remote work opportunities with amazing benefits and competitive starting wage! The support and help is always just a quick msg away with just as quick a response!
Cons
Does not matter what your role is, someone lower with less responsibility can be making more than you.

Easy money at a cost
29 Aug 2022 - Senior Customer Care Specialist in Sausalito, CARecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
working from home, benefits are awesome, PTO actúes quickly, 50% off employee discount, coworkers are your primary resources.
Cons
no OT, Company behaves like it’s a start up, slow to make structure, management need leadership training, everyone is spread really thin, hard to request time off with so many black out dates.

Pros
The company is growing incredibly quickly because the culture respects experimentation and challenges to the status quo. In my experience, ideas from people at all levels of the organization are valued which makes the day-to-day feel collaborative and fun. In my experience, employees have a high level of autonomy and are constantly solving new problems. Due to this, the company seems to best suit people that are excited about having their role transform as the company grows and that thrive when held accountable and given meaningful responsibility.
Cons
Before the new CEO was installed, the company lacked a clear leader. Lack of leadership stalled critical investments in growth and keeping the company's foundation healthy and created a layer of management that was incredibly weak. Since the new CEO came on, more long-term investments have been prioritized and most of the leadership was replaced which has made the work environment great. The company could still improve internal communication from the c-suite to the rest of the organization regarding key priorities and the mission/vision.

Lack of Diversity-Poor Leadership by CEO/SVP
22 May 2022 - Sales Associate in New York, NYRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
PTO/health benefits/that is about it
Cons
The lack of diversity is startling. You will only move up in the company if the SVP likes you and you fit the mold of 20/30 something Caucasian female. Your experience means nothing. The CEO sits back and allows this inequality to happen. The pay increases are insulting. No care for hardworking and long term employees.
